Tuscaloosa’s Inaugural ‘Bark in the Park’ is Saturday May 17th!

Happy dogs will have their human friends in tow to celebrate the inaugural 'Bark in the Park' at the new Will May Dog Park at Sokol Park! This free event, presented The Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors, is Saturday May 17th, from 9am until 2pm.

The excitement is building as the plans are coming together for plenty of fun activities, demonstrations and contests. Get ready to line up for "Dogs on Parade" at 10:30! Also in the works, frisby games, cutest pup contest and an owner-dog-look-a-like contest.

Plus, meet experts and get tips on grooming and training. Scheduled to attend are: Dog Gone Fancy; Pets Supplies Plus; trainer Abigail Witthauer; The Groomer on Main; The Humane Society of West Alabama, the Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine and many others. Plus, Alliance of Animal Welfare and Alabama SPCA will have dogs and puppies up for adoptions and looking for a loving home. Zap photography will be on site to take lots of photos and capture it all!
