A new grocery delivery service is coming to the Tuscaloosa area on Thursday offering even more store options- plus an entire year of deliveries free.Starting September 28, Instacart will be launching delivery service in the Tuscaloosa area and bringing groceries to the doorsteps of residents same-day, in as little as an hour. Additionally, for a limited time Instacart is offering customers a free one-year subscription of Instacart Express, which includes unlimited free deliveries for orders of $35 or more.

How does Instacart differ from its competitors?

Instacart is the nation's largest on-demand grocery delivery service, and is already available in more than 130 markets throughout the U.S. The delivery area will cover over 65K residents and bringing income earning opportunities to the area with plans to bring on more than 100 new shoppers. Areas of service include Tuscaloosa, Woodland Forest, Alpine Hills, Hall, Woodland Pines, Holt, Northport, Samantha, Windham Springs, Cottondale, Northport, Wood Estates, Wood Villas and Wood Ridge.
