Tuscaloosa’s Own Prepares For His Date With Destiny At The Apollo Theater

Tuscaloosa's Own Thomas Davis Jr. is awaiting his chance to make the city of Tuscaloosa proud. I've seen this scene so many times in my radio Career, local kid performs and wins, next thing I know he's producing an album and performing in front of Thousands.

Thomas will flight to New York City next week as prepares to perform at the Apollo Theater. Up for grabs is $10,000.00 in their Super Top Dog Contest. Right now Thomas is just resting his voice in preparation for his big night.

His competitors won’t be pushovers -- all the nine acts vying for the prize next week have all won on previous Amateur Nights, just as Davis has. He said he has looked at some of the other talent and will be facing off against vocalists, violinists, dance troupes and more. So this could be a very interesting night for the young man, we all wish him good luck and we'll be watching.
