UA Student Stole Almost $10,000 Electronically From The UA
A 22-year University of Alabama student has been charged with stealing almost $10,000 from the student loan funds of others studying at the UA after a joint investigation by university police and the FBI.
According to U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance Briana Jackson has pleaded guilty to a charge of unauthorized access to a University of Alabama computer and agreed to pay back the $9,598 in restitution for the money she stole electronically.
