Un-Plugged….Life the way it used(should) to be

I had the unfortunate luck to misplace my phone over the weekend. At first I thought it would be a problem. How wrong I was. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The way things are now with all this technology, I ,as well as others thought that NOT having access to a mobile connection device would cause problems, it didn't. I was able to rest, relax, and refocus.

I can still remember the days without cell phones, internet, and pretty much all of the technology we take for granted. I still remember getting a busy signal when you called someone, having to keep a dime(then a quarter) to use the pay phone, having to look stuff up in the encyclopedias, actually having to read a map and follow directions.

If the young folks of today had to live with(or without in this case) the way things were when I was young they would have a greater appreciation for what they have now.
