UPDATE: HWY 55 Burger’s Owner Charged With Arson!

So it turns out it was arson that started the fire last night at Hwy 55 Burger's, NOT an accident!

According to WVUA 23, The owner of Hwy 55 Burger's Derrick Duane Maddox has been arrested and charged with Second degree Arson. He’s in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $15,000 Bond.

The fire took place last night The surrounding businesses: Dunkin Donuts, One Stop Tax, and Sprint buildings located beside HWY 55 Burger were also affected by the fire.  We're going to hope Mr. Maddox was falsely accused and that the fire was caused by something else because we just refuse to believe anybody could be so thoughtless as to set fire to his business when it's attached to other businesses.
