UPS Hosts Golf Tournament

A flat screen tv, airline tickets, golf clubs, and $10,000.... What do all of these have in common? They're all prizes for United Parcel Service's United Way Golf Tournament!

Saturday, August 22, UPS will host a 4-man scramble golf tournament at Hidden Meadows Golf Course (13000 Old Cove Rd; Northport, AL 35473). Registration is $75 per player, which includes lunch. In addition to the previously mentioned prizes, door prizes and gift bags will be given away.

All proceeds from this event will benefit United Way. UPS has long been a major supporter of United Way. According to United Way, in 2012 alone, UPS and its employees and retirees raised $59.1 million for the organization, which works to create lasting change that lifts up entire communities around the world by bringing people and organizations together around innovative solutions to impact millions of lives.
