Walgreens Performing Free HIV Tests

Walgreens, Greater Than AIDS, and local testing partners have teamed up to offer FREE HIV Testing at select Walgreens locations this month to comemmorate National HIV Testing Day.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated 1 in 5 people with HIV remain unaware because they are not testing at all or aren't testing regularly enough. This is very careless since the West Alabama AIDS Outreach offers free testing daily.

But as tomorrow (June 27) is National HIV Testing Day, Tuscaloosa area Walgreens stores will perform free testing this evening from 3pm to 7pm and again tomorrow from 10am to 2pm. The locations include Walgreens at 3107 Lurleen B. Wallace Blvd in Northport, 8701 Highway 69 S and 4400 University Blvd E in Tuscaloosa.
