AUBURN, Ala. -- Cam Newton doesn't want to hear your accusations that he took money in college.

The Former Auburn quarterback and current Carolina Panthers star was quick to fire back at a fan, presumably an Alabama one, who made mention of it as Newton walked around outside Jordan-Hare Stadium before kickoff the 80th edition of the Iron Bowl on Saturday.

"Cam, $180K?" the fan, who was not present on the Vine clip, said.

Newton, who was all smiles and high-fiving Auburn fans before the fan's comment, turned around and responded with a profanity that was bleeped out of the video. "I'll slap the s--t out you," he said.

During his lone season with the Tigers in 2010, Newton was at the center of a pay-for-play controversy that he was eventually cleared of wrongdoing. That season, Auburn won the national title and Newton won the Heisman Trophy. He then declared early for the NFL Draft, where he was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Panthers.

No. 2 Alabama went on to beat Auburn, 29-13.
