West Alabama High School Bass Fishing Championship Saturday

The West Alabama High School Bass Fishing Championship is Saturday on the Warrior River with a weigh in to follow at Kentuck Park.

Tuscaloosa County and Tuscaloosa City School Bass fishing teams are fishing the tournament first thing Saturday morning. They will put their boats in just below Oliver Dam and will take their hauls to a weigh in at Kentuck Park in Northport. First place in the high school division will win a $3000 college scholarship.

• Junior division weigh in begins at 1:30 pm
• High School division begins at 2 pm

The weigh-in is free to the public.
