Why Are We Playing This Game With George Zimmerman

Why would DMX or any other Black person in America entertain putting George Zimmerman in the spotlight? We are not just talking spotlight we are talking putting this man in a so-called celebrity spotlight. Just when did he gain celebrity status?

One could argue that Zimmerman was acquitted and America should except that.

I agree we should accept the George Zimmerman verdict in the same manner America accepted the verdicts of the O.J. Simpson and Michael Jackson trials. Michael was ridiculed until his death. O.J. couldn’t even to write a book or do anything to make money other than his pension.

But now we have celebrities, African American celebrities who are actually considering and willing to participate in this fight, circus or whatever you want to call this crap to accomplish what?  Win, lose or draw the only person that will benefit from this is George Zimmerman.

A better question is just how would you feel if George Zimmerman actually won the fight?  Please don’t let this happen!
