I'm not sure how the phrase Wing Wednesday began, but it should be considered an American tradition. Wednesdays are reserved for wings. Tuscaloosa just so happens to have some of the best wings I've ever tasted. It's in the sauce, and the meat of course. Flats or drums, it doesn't matter - it all taste the same to me. While in college, I worked at one of the top wing spots in Tallahassee, so I would consider myself like a wing connoisseur.

1. Buffalo Phil's - I'm super bias when it comes to Phil's. This is the place where I had my first Tuscaloosa meal after arriving to start my new job. The wings are phenomenal! Located on the University's campus, it's always packed with college students, but it's worth the wait!

2. Archibald & Woodrow's - First things first, I need them to bottle their sauce and sell it. I don't even know how to explain the flavor of their wings, besides saying it's simply amazing. Anyone who has visited Tuscaloosa raves about their wings and for good reason.

3. Baumhower's - If you're looking for some thick wings, this is the place. Every single wing has a ton of meat on them. The honey bbq wings are amazing. Plus they have unique wing flavors like, Vidalia onion, Peanut Butter, and PBJ. They have several locations in Alabama, too.
