WTUG Behind the Scenes

I can't count the number of times people have asked how I'm able to do my news casts without messing up. Sometimes, I try to act like I've been doing it so long that it just comes naturally. But most of the time, I fess up and admit to editing.Every now and then, I'll read a story and you can hear the laughter in my voice. Today was one of those days. You can still hear the laughter in my voice after editing, but I'm going to share what really happened that you didn't hear on the air:

I have a VERY vivid imagination and could just SEE a person coming home, where their mobile home USED TO stand, and not only is it not there anymore, but the septic tank has been dug up, too! This is no natural disaster!  Secondly, the company didn't require the lady to produce paperwork claiming it was indeed her property! Can you imagine how they felt when they found out what they'd done? I laugh every time I think about it.

Anyway, that's what you DON'T hear on the radio. We're not perfect, but technology will make you think we are pretty close to it.... NOT!
