Xscape has announced that their new EP, Here For It, is set to drop next month. However, there's one major caveat— it'll reportedly arrive without contribution from Kandi Burrus, per The Jasmine Brand.

Kandi's absence on the project isn't surprising. Back in November during a visit to Bravo's Watch What Happens Live to promote their reality show Xscape: Still Kickin' It, it was revealed she wouldn't be a part of the project in what was an awkward interview.

During the segment, there was a bit of a tense back and forth between Kandi and Tamika Scott over false rumors that Kandi slept with JD's dad, spurring the breakup. Things got even weirder when Cohen asked the group if they're recording new music.

"They are," Kandi says, pointing to Tamika, Latocha Scott and Tiny.

Kandi then said she was going to work on Broadway (she joined the cast of Chicago) and do "other things" while the rest of the group records, admitting that old baggage put a damper on the group's plans to make new music together.

Still, the show must go on. And even though Kandi didn't contribute to the record, things seem pretty kosher with the crew, as they wrapped up their Great Xscape tour a few days ago.

The EP will feature six songs, two of which were released late last year while the group was on tour— "Dream Killa" and "Wifed Up."

Here For It is expected to arrive on February 14. You can pre-order the EP here.
