Wednesday, I asked my grandfather if he'd help me pick up a refrigerator if I decided to purchase it, and he immediately said he would. So, we went to get it yesterday FROM TRUSSVILLE, driving his huge F-150 and pulling a trailer.  When I offered to pay for the gas, grandmother refused.

When we got to the warehouse and saw how many people it took to load the fridge on the trailer, I knew that I was going to need some real man power to get it into my house. So, I called a cousin and he said he'd help. I then started going through my phone to see who I could call to help.  I sent a few texts with no response.  Got down to the R's and saw "Robert Reed"!  Excitement doesn't even begin to explain how I felt.

Robert is one of the strongest men I know, and he always has been, dating back to his high school years. The boy was just strong! I called him and said, "Man, it took about 5 people to get that thing on the trailer.  I need your help."

His response was, "Five people?  Well, all you need is one more person."

I told him that I'd called a cousin and him, and he said that was enough.  Of course, I thought that he had no idea how much he'd gotten himself into. I said to myself, "Wait until he sees this. He'll be calling for backup."

When we got to the house, Robert hopped into the trailer and got the fridge off.  My grandmother laughed and said, "When he first got out of his truck, I said, 'Oh, naw. This lil fella.... Bless his heart, but he ain't gone be able to get this by himself,' but when he got closer and I saw those big ol' arms and chest poking out, I said, 'Wait a minute. I might can do it!'" LOL  (I love quoting my grandmother. I remember being very young, sitting on the couch with my feet tucked under me, which is the first time I heard, "Girl, get your feet off my couch! Don't let your feet write a check that your butt can't cash!")

Anyway, my grandfather took some measurements and quickly discovered that the fridge wouldn't fit through my doors.  So, Robert took off its doors and ended up taking the door to my kitchen off the hinges! He and my cousin Jae got the fridge in and put everything back together.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by some of the best people in the world, and I am excited about the blessings they're going to receive by being so willing to help me, just as I was blessed to receive their help. Galations 6:7"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
