A Hoover Teen Commits Robbery With A Toy Gun

Hoover police have arrested a teen that carried out two armed holdups in less than in less than 48 hours with a toy gun.  He now faces felony charges as an adult.

Captain Gregg Rector said one of the victims said she was reaching in her car to get something when a gunman demanded her valuables. The robber took cash and the woman’s iPhone and fled on foot.

The phone and stolen cash along with a black toy handgun were found on the teen when he was apprehended at a Citgo.
