Departing Alabama football player Landon Dickerson is opting to use his public platform to help Captain Brian Wolnewitz as he battles Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Dickerson became a beloved member of the Crimson Tide football program after transferring to Tuscaloosa by way of Florida State.

The powerful interior lineman became one of the more spirited players on the 2020 Alabama offense. He earned the Rimington Trophy, given yearly to the nation's top center, in 2020 and was First Team All-SEC and Unanimous All-American.

Dickerson tore his ACL in the closing stages of the SEC Championship game, ending his season. The beloved lineman was able to play in the national championship at the end of the game as Bryce Young was kneeling out the remaining time.

Dickerson's bumper earned notoriety this season as his play earned him more attention. The center utilized a railroad tie in place of a traditional bumper and is now raffling it off for charity.

Dickerson had teammates Mac Jones, Najee Harris, DeVonta Smith, Alex Leatherwood, Deonte Brown and Thomas Fletcher chip in and sign the bumper in order to increase its value.

Dickerson is also offering a signed photo for every donation of $250. Dickerson has partnered with Firefighters to the Rescue to identify Captain Wolnewitz as the recipient of the proceeds.
