This recognition follows her impressive 30-point outing, during which she matched her own Alabama record by sinking eight three-pointers in the Crimson Tide's commanding 93-46 win over the Jacksonville Dolphins on Sunday.

This marks the first time the veteran guard has received the SEC Player of the Week accolade. Since transferring from Illinois in 2022, Nye has been a top performer for the Crimson Tide.

In addition to her scoring, Nye boasted a remarkable shooting efficiency, hitting 75% (9-of-12) from the field, 80% (8-of-10) from beyond the arc, and 80% (4-of-5) from the free-throw line.

She also climbed to fifth place on Alabama's program's all-time list for career three-pointers made (240) and currently leads the SEC and ranks No.3 nationally with 52 three-pointers made this season.

As the Crimson Tide continues to excel this season, both fans and critics alike can anticipate even more from Nye.
