A top-thirty recruit from Providence Christian Academy in Tennessee, Washington Jr. originally picked the Tide in September of 2025.

Washington Jr. initially selected Alabama over Ole Miss in addition to offers from Auburn, Tennessee, and Villanova.

His decommitment leaves the Crimson Tide with only one commit, forward Tarris Bouie, in the 2026 class.
