We got our first look at defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman since last fall when he tore his ACL in practice leading up to Alabama's 73-0 victory over the ULM Warhawks. He led Alabama's defensive line group through drills while defensive line coach Freddie Roach barked orders and instructions to his players.

Behind Beaman, in order, were Mississippi State transfer Kedrick Bingley-Jones, Oregon transfer Terrance Green, freshman defensive lineman Corey Howard Jr., Washington transfer Caleb Smith, Edric Hill, Mhari Johnson, and Leslie Black.

We also saw work from Alabama's inside linebackers, led by Virginia Tech transfer Caleb Woodson, who seems to have all but locked down one of Alabama's two vacancies at inside linebacker.

Behind him, in order, were QB Reese, Cayden Jones, Luke Metz, Abduall Sanders Jr., Duke Johnson II, and five-star freshman Xavier Griffin.

At running back, five-star freshman EJ Crowell was not spotted working with his position group, but head coach Kalen DeBoer said that he wasn't taking many reps, if any, following last week's scrimmage, and said it would be "more of the same" this week.

Despite the absence of Crowell, Alabama's running back group consisted of Daniel Hill leading the way, followed by Kevin Riley, AK Dear, Khalifa Keith, and Trae'Shawn Brown.
