Caller Crashes Inauguration Coverage to Complain About Alabama Football
Washington, D.C. - The inauguration of the next United States President is complete. Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President and JD Vance was sworn in as the 50th Vice President. News outlets across the country, including Townsquare Media, provide wall-to-wall coverage of the inauguration and the transition of power from Joe Biden to Donald Trump.

However, an irate Alabama fan crashed one news company's coverage. The Crimson Tide finished its regular season 9-3 and was the first team left out of the College Football Playoff, despite being ranked as the No. 11 team in the country.
C-SPAN provided live coverage of the inauguration while fielding phone calls from citizens to comment on the tenure of Joe Biden, the inauguration, and the next four years under President Trump. The call started normally, with the caller, Graham from Jersey City, wishing everyone a happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and citing his disappointment in the results of the election.
"I'm disappointed in how the election turned out. I think it would have been great to see a female person inaugurated today. And I'm disappointed in the American people and their desire to see another four years of Trump."
Then, the call took a completely unanticipated left turn.
"I'm a bit more disappointed in the selection committee not picking Alabama for the College Football Playoff."
Graham from Jersey City cited the committee letting in "inferior" teams as the source of his disappointment.
"They accepted inferior teams like SMU and Indiana."
Graham did not hold back on his disappointment in America.
"Truly dark times in America."
No matter what is going on, Alabama Football remains relevant.
