The announcement was made shortly after Alabama wrapped up its 56-23 victory over No. 16 Mississippi State on Saturday afternoon. Georgia defeated Vanderbilt at home 38-14 on Saturday.

It's the second time gameday will be in Tuscaloosa for an Alabama-Georgia matchup within the last three seasons, with the crew coming for Alabama's 41-34 victory over the Bulldogs in 2024. College Gameday was also in attendance for the SEC Championship last season, when Georgia defeated Alabama 28-7.

It's the first time the Crimson Tide has gotten College Gameday on campus this season. It's the sixth time College Gameday has gone to an Alabama game within the last three seasons:

  • Alabama vs. Georgia (2024)
  • Alabama at LSU (2024)
  • Alabama vs. Vanderbilt (2025)
  • Alabama vs. Georgia, SEC Championship (2025)
  • Alabama at Oklahoma, College Football Playoff (2025)
  • Alabama vs. Georgia (2026)

Under Kalen DeBoer, Alabama is 4-1 with College Gameday in attendance, with the lone loss coming in the 2025 SEC Championship game.

Alabama improves to 5-0 (3-0) with the win at No. 16 Mississippi State on Saturday. The Tide's next game will be next Saturday, October 10, when Alabama hosts No. 2 Georgia. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. CT.
