Final Football AP Poll Released
The college football season has ended, with Ohio State claiming its second national championship in the College Football Playoff era. With the playoffs concluded the Associated Press released its final rankings, resulting in the final top-25 of the 2024-2025 season.

With the rankings came yet another plummeting of Alabama football this season. The Crimson Tide ended the regular season 9-3, with key wins against Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, and Auburn. However, with the highs came the lows for Alabama this season, with embarrassing losses to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma and a loss to one team in the College Football Playoffs in Tennessee.
Alabama ended the season outside of the top 15 after being ranked No. 11 in the final AP Poll of the regular season. It marks the first time since 2007 that Alabama fell outside of the top 10 in the season's final rankings. Consequently, it is also the first time since 2007 that Alabama fell outside the top 15 in the season's final rankings.
The Crimson Tide faced Michigan in the Reliaquest Bowl to conclude its 2024 season. Alabama's offense was unable to overcome its first-half mistakes, falling to the Wolverines for the second straight season, this time by a score of 19-13.
