Gallery: Alabama’s Bench Leads Tide to Big Win

Tuscaloosa, AL - The Alabama bench is the storyline of Alabama men's basketball's most recent victory, a 103-87 win over Vanderbilt, avenging the Commodores' victory over the Crimson Tide in football in October 2024.

Alabama's bench scored 30 more points than Vanderbilt's for a total of 52 points from the bench for Alabama. 44 of those points came from two unlikely heroes: Aden Holloway and Mouhamed Dioubate.

Holloway and Dioubate co-led Alabama in points with 22 apiece. Holloway also led Alabama in three points and three-point percentage, shooting 4-6 from range for the Crimson Tide.

Dioubate, a player that many saw as the odd man out when previewing this Crimson Tide team this season, earned his first career double-double and far and away his highest-scoring game as a member of the Crimson Tide. Dioubate ended the night with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
