Kalen DeBoer’s Thoughts During Monday’s Press Conference

It's been three days since the thrilling showdown between Alabama and Georgia. Fans and critics alike are still buzzing about the contest, and much talk continues to spread after the game. Many questions remain centered around the game, and Kalen DeBoer provided much insight during Monday's presser.

The most anticipated matchup for the Tide this season was against the Bulldogs. The world is still in shock over how well the Tide played in the first half, especially in the absence of Nick Saban. The Tide were labeled as underdogs at their own field, but DeBoer had a plan to lead the team to success. "The preparation we put into the weeks, the preparation goes back before that with continued improvement. They want to be great and I'm just proud of the energy they bring every day. I think we're continuing to do more things well on offense, defense, and special teams. However, there are always going to be things we need to clean up. We know we're only as good as our last game," said DeBoer.

The game was highlighted by many great efforts and electrifying plays from the Tide. It seemed like the Bulldogs might have sealed the game late in the fourth, but the Tide did not give up and won their biggest game of the season thus far. "In the end, it was a team win because the offense scored and the defense stopped them, and it took both sides of the ball doing everything they could to help us win. It wasn't just one side that carried the weight; it was a team win, and we'll continue to grow as a team because of it," said DeBoer.

As the Tide looks to the future, they are set to play their second Southeastern Conference game of the season and their first SEC matchup on the road. With a 4-0 record, there's still room for improvement as the Tide continues. "Everything that's on film and everything that didn't look well is what the next opponent is going to look at and try to attack you with. We're looking forward to tomorrow morning and a great practice that should be full of energy, and it needs to be the best Tuesday we ever had because that's how we need to approach each and every opportunity," said DeBoer.
