The Tuscaloosa Holiday Cotillion Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization originally established in 1960, but re-organized in 2024, proudly held its annual Holiday Charity Ball on December 22, 2024. The elegant event, which took place at Bryant Conference Center, served as a fundraiser for the Kristen Amerson Youth Foundation, a nonprofit committed to promoting healthier lives for youth through suicide prevention resources and positive educational experiences.

Founded to empower college-age women while enhancing the Tuscaloosa community’s social, cultural, and civic pride, the Tuscaloosa Holiday Cotillion Foundation strives to inspire personal achievement, etiquette, and accountability. The Foundation accomplishes this through educational programming, social events, and charitable contributions to local organizations.

"This generous gift empowers us to continue providing vital mental health resources and services to the young people of Tuscaloosa," said JacQuan Winters, Executive Director of the Kristen Amerson Youth Foundation.

Winters continued, "We are deeply honored to receive the Tuscaloosa Holiday Cotillion Foundation's contribution. Out of all the organizations in Tuscaloosa, they selected the Kristen Amerson Youth Foundation as their beneficiary, demonstrating their dedication to mental health, suicide prevention, and supporting our youth. We are truly grateful!"

Debutante Officers of the Holiday Cotillion include Sarah Elizabeth Morrow, President; and Anna Katelyn Kuhn, Vice President.
