Maddox Withholds Support
Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox told the 953 Bear Steve and DC Morning Show that he does not offer full support for the $150 million dollar Sports Illustrated Resort project on the river.
The mayor also reflected on the killer April 27th, 2011 tornado.
The twister was a mile wide, destroyed 13% of the city, and took 53 lives.
Maddox said he supports President Trump’s upcoming Tuscaloosa visit and speech at the University of Alabama.
When asked for his perspective on the controversial Northport Beach project,
Maddox artfully dodged answering the question.
Mayor Maddox, his wife, and son will all be participating in the Mayor’s 5K to benefit Pre-K this Saturday.
