Toys for Tots: Help Make West Alabama Children Smile this Holiday
This holiday season, you can light up the hearts of children across West Alabama by helping the Marine Corps Reserve - Toys for Tots of West Alabama.
You can donate a new toy to their ‘Stuff a Truck’ on Saturday, November 30, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Five Below, located at 1451 Dr Edward Hillard Dr, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
The goal is to fill the truck to capacity with toys for children this Christmas. The Marine Corps Reserve, Toys for Tots of West Alabama, services Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa counties.
“We are excited to partner with Five Below once again in our fourth annual Stuff a Truck event,” said the Local Campaign Manager, Samuel Minchew. He said this year, they want to know who will donate the most toys. “Will it be Alabama fans or Auburn fans here to try and beat them? Only time will tell as they fill their teams' boxes with toys.”
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has delivered hope to children for over 75 years. Over the years, the program has distributed 652 million toys and supported 291 million kids.
