Easter Sunday in West Alabama.

Let's start with some services and Easter productions.

Starting Friday night, the Northport Church Of God is presenting an amazing Easter production called "Light Of Life," featuring a cast and crew of over 80 people.

It features the story of the crucifixion and resurrection along with music, and it begins at 7:00 pm.

Additional performances will take place on Saturday and Easter Sunday at 7 pm on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday.

One Easter sunrise service that is getting lots of local buzz is the one at Eagle Cove Marina & RV Park at 6:30 am on Sunday.

The message is presented by David Bonner, with music from recording artist Casey Thrasher.

There will also be a sunrise Easter service at One Hope Church/Tuscaloosa in the Pavilion.

Pastor Scott Moore will lead the service beginning at 6:00 am.

Easter brunch is a tradition for many families, and here is the list of restaurants we have at this time.

*Previously, we reported that Cypress Inn was doing a special brunch for Easter, however, that information was not accurate, and Cypress Inn will not be serving an Easter brunch.
