Why Did Alabama Gas Prices Spike Overnight?

Just when I started to feel good about positive momentum with prices,
I go to get some gas in Alabama, and the price has jumped overnight! What gives?
How does this stuff happen from one night to the next now?
I understand there’s a little bit of uncertainty in the Middle East right now, but don’t be fooled because that is often the excuse that is used so prices can be jacked up on all of us.
I got to know a convenience store owner a few years ago who said would you like me to tell you the real truth about gas prices of course, I said yes, please. I would like to know once and for all why this happens.
He said well, first of all, you should know we’re very good at coming up with multiple reasons why the price is up, and my Hall of Fame reason is because we just got in some fresh gas!
Yes, that is a thing that sometimes gas station owners will say because we all know the last thing we are willing to buy is that old, stale gas that’s been sitting there long past its expiration date!
What in the world does that mean?
Fresh gas?
Who cares how stale the gas is as long as it will power my vehicle, I could not care any less about the freshness of the gasoline!
I’m sure the real story that we will get later today will be all about the situation between Iran, Israel, and possibly the United States.
