- Birmingham: As the most populous city in Alabama, Birmingham faces significant challenges related to crime, including high rates of violent crimes and property crimes.
- Gadsden: This city has a crime rate 290% above the national average, with common crimes including robbery, assault, burglary, theft, and vehicle theft.
- Tarrant: With a violent crime rate of 2,520 per 100,000 people, Tarrant is considered one of the most dangerous cities in Alabama.
