The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama will honor three exceptional individuals at its 2024 Civic Hall of Fame induction ceremony on October 17 at 2 p.m., held at the Tuscaloosa River Market. This annual event celebrates civic leaders whose enduring contributions have significantly enhanced the community's quality, livability, and economic progress.

The honorees are as follows:

**Dr. William Nathan Dansby**
Dr. William Nathan Dansby, a distinguished dentist and World War II veteran, is remembered for his impactful service in Tuscaloosa. A Mobile native, Dr. Dansby earned degrees from Johnson C. Smith University, Fisk University, and Meharry Medical College. His professional and civic involvement included leadership roles in the Alabama Dental Association and contributions to local educational and health organizations. Dr. Dansby’s legacy includes his tenure as Chairman of the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education and his work with numerous community organizations before his passing in 2002.

**Robert “Bobby” Lanier Ingram, Jr.**
Robert “Bobby” Lanier Ingram, Jr. has been a pillar of Tuscaloosa’s civic and business communities for over 25 years. A Birmingham-Southern College and Memphis State University graduate, Bobby’s career in accounting and finance is complemented by his extensive civic involvement. Notably, he has served as Chair of the Tuscaloosa Education Foundation and the Black Warrior Council of the Boy Scouts of America. His efforts in expanding educational support and fostering international business relations highlight his commitment to community betterment.

**Marlin D. “Lin” Moore III**
Lin Moore, a Tuscaloosa native and CEO of Pritchett-Moore Insurance, has significantly impacted the local business landscape and community service. With over 40 years in the insurance industry, Lin has been a key figure in various local organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Club of West Alabama. His leadership roles and community service have earned him multiple accolades, including the 2018 Tuscaloosa County Citizen of the Year award.
