Coffee lovers have another reason to make a stop in Northport this weekend as 7 Brew celebrates the opening of its newest Tuscaloosa-area location with free drinks and a charitable cause.

The drive-thru coffee company has opened its third location in the Tuscaloosa area at 5600 McFarland Boulevard in Northport, near Walmart.

As part of its “Caffeine for a Cause” celebration, the new location will offer free small drinks for three days. The giveaway runs Friday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by Saturday, Oct. 3, and Sunday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Customers can receive up to four free drinks per person, but selections are limited to a special menu available during the promotion.

Coffee choices include a Cinnamon Roll iced coffee made with white chocolate and brown sugar cinnamon and a Banana Bread iced coffee featuring banana and hazelnut mocha.

A sugar-free and dairy-alternative option is also available with the Sugar-Free/Oat Milk Blondie.

For those looking for something without coffee, the special menu includes a Sunrise Energy Chiller and Iced Sunrise Lemonade. Both feature peach and raspberry flavors.

While the drinks are being offered for free, the Northport opening is also serving as a fundraiser. According to the event flyer, proceeds collected during the “Caffeine for a Cause” promotion will be donated to Nick’s Kids Foundation.

The promotion gives customers a chance to try the newly opened drive-thru while supporting a charitable organization at the same time.

The Northport shop joins two other 7 Brew locations in the Tuscaloosa area, expanding the drive-thru coffee brand’s presence in West Alabama.

Customers planning to take advantage of the free-drink promotion should remember that the offer is limited to four drinks per person and choices must come from the promotional menu.

The three-day celebration begins Friday at the new 7 Brew location at 5600 McFarland Boulevard in Northport.
