Tuscaloosa Corvette Club and Church Hosting Backpack Giveaway
Back-to-school season is upon the residents of West Alabama and the free events are all around the city.

Saturday, August 3rd, the Low Riders Corvette Club of West Alabama will be hosting a back-to-school giveaway from 11a-4p at Pleasent Grove Missionary Baptist Church, which is also helping to put on this event.

"The importance of this event is to make sure every child that attends the event will have the necessary supplies to start the school year off right. said Stacey Hellem, a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

This back-to-school event is being sponsored by Low Riders Corvette Club of Tuscaloosa along with Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Youth Ministry, Pastor Lorenzo Bonner.
The giveaway will feature 500 supply-filled backpacks, school supplies, free food, and games. All giveaways will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church is located at 6801 Sanders Ferry Road.
