Alabama defensive back Marlon Humphrey became the school's first pick of the 2017 NFL Draft when the Baltimore Ravens selected him 16th overall.

After redshirting in 2014, Humphrey started two seasons for the Crimson Tide and leaves he program as a sophomore. He made the most of his opportunities, finishing with five interceptions and 15 passes defended.

Humprhey follows in the footsteps of his father, Bobby, who was an All-American running back for the Crimson Tide and also taken in the first round of the 1989 NFL Draft.

Humphrey going off the board before any other Alabama player was a pretty big draft day surprise, but he had been moving up in recent weeks.
