Ever the working man, R. Kelly is following up his big 2013 with an arena tour. He's going to have some big help to make this journey a success.

Tamar Braxton will open for the R&B legend on his tour, starting with a stop in Montgomery, Ala., on April 18. She also had a solid year with 'Love and War' debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Right after her gig with R. Kelly ends in Louisville, Ky., in May, Braxton will headline her own Love and War tour. The performance trek will feature 17 stops and come to a close with a concert in San Francisco. New York City, Philadelphia and Miami are some of the other places that will get a chance to see the 'Love and War' singer.

Braxton will also make a return to television. She'll host 'The Real' alongside Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, Loni Love and Tamera Mowry-Housley later this year.

As for R. Kelly, he's preparing his sequel to 'Black Panties,' titled 'White Panties.' He's also set to go on tour this year with Mary J. Blige for The King & Queen Tour, but there hasn't been much said about it since it was first announced in December 2013.
