After a meeting held between Southeastern Conference presidents on Thursday, the SEC has voted to approve the additions of Oklahoma and Texas into the conference. The conference voted unanimously in favor of expanding the conference to 16 teams.
In the first game of the 2021 SEC/Big 12 challenge, the Alabama Crimson Tide traveled to Norman to take on a hot Oklahoma team, ranked 24th in the nation and lost in a tough battle from start to finish.
