The Houston Texans announced Sunday they have officially signed former Alabama cornerback Shyheim Carter after a successful rookie minicamp tryout.

Houston Texans Trying Out Two Former Alabama Safeties
NFL teams across the country are making post-draft decisions filling out their personal for the upcoming 2021 season. The Houston Texans have decided to bring in two former Alabama safeties in on a tryout basis, Shyheim Carter and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
Alabama Alumni Added As Graduate Assistant
Carter, from Kentwood, Louisiana played for the Crimson Tide from 2016-19. Carter played in 34 games accumulating 100 tackles and three interceptions with two forced fumbles and two defensive touchdowns in his career at Alabama.
