The University of Alabama released answers to frequently asked questions about academic instructions for the remainder of the Spring semester. There is uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus and how that will alter day-to-day life, the University of Alabama is doing its best to stay on top of the ever-changing news.

The school announced it is unsure if online-classes will be the method of instruction for the entirety of the remaining semester. The university will re-evaluate the policy on or before April 6.

The university announced that students unable to return to Tuscaloosa will be accommodated for during this unprecedented time.

The university announced campus facilities will be open for those who do not have internet access in Tuscaloosa and stated that those without access should discuss procedures with their professors.

The university announced that no decision has been made on refunding housing, meal plans or parking permit money that students have already invested, those decisions are still being made and will likely be announced April 6.

The Student Health Center will reopen on March 23, the university requests you call before you visit to discuss the reason for your visit.

The university announced that international students who cannot return home should contact Housing and Residential Communities on campus and arrangements will be made.

There has been no decisions on holding graduation, the university is still working through the process and making decisions in the best interest of the community.
