Thanksgiving Dinner

The holiday season with family and friends is an exciting time. Here's a few things not to bring to the Thanksgiving dinner table this year.

1. Your bad attitude. First of all, it's a day to celebrate everything you're thankful for. A lot of people didn't get to see this year, so be happy you're alive. Maybe your cousin is annoying, or you don't get a long with your big brother - don't let them dictate how your day goes.

2. Your picky eating. Maybe you don't like marshmallows on the sweet potato casserole, or eggs in the potato salad - suck it up. Don't complain.

3. Empty hands. Contribute something to the dinner, and not just your appetite or napkins. Like c'mon, I think the house has napkins already. Cook. Purchase. Do what you have to do, but make sure it's a dish big enough for everyone to enjoy.

4. Your alcoholic behavior.  Take it easy on the spiked egg nog, or red wine. There's always that one person who drinks a little bit too much and starts talking crazy. Try not to embarrass yourself this year.

5. Your Facebook knowledge of this year's election season. We've all had enough. We read your status rants all year long. We get it! You're not happy. You voted. Racisim is alive. Trump won.
