A Former Alabama Defensive Lineman Was Shot And Killed Thursday
Ozell Powell a former defensive lineman during the mid-1990s was shot and killed Thursday in his native Greenville.
Powell was shot twice in the chest around 1:30 a.m. and pronounced dead at the L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital according to Greenville Police Department Chief Lonzo Ingram.
Powell started 25 games at Alabama from 1993-1996. He had 67 career tackles and 4 sacks. Read more here at al.com
