You would think that those who put themselves in risky situations for the sake of income would welcome safety standards, but not those in California.

According to the AP, some porn stars are upset over California's proposed regulations, which would even require sex performers to wear protective EYE gear in some situations.  In addition, producers of X-rated videos would have to pay for medical tests and hepatitis B vaccines. Those opposing to the new regulations say if the rules go into effect, their videos would look like medical shows.

Apparently, they're not taking into consideration the fact that the regulations could be  preventing them from being future guests on medical shows.  Now, protective eye gear might be a bit excessive. I mean, what would be next? Shower caps?
