On a relatively cool Friday morning, Alabama football hit the practice field for the first time since April's A-Day game.

Most of the attention was given to the quarterback position, where Jacob Coker made his

debut in a Crimson Tide jersey. Offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin was working with all three quarterbacks as they made a variety of different throws during the media viewing period.

As always, head coach Nick Saban worked exclusively with the defensive backs on technique.

The only freshmen on the field were the ones that enrolled early. The rest of the top-ranked freshmen class will report in the evening session Friday.
