The top seven spots in the latest AP poll remain unchanged after week four of the 2016 college football season.

Alabama received 50 first-place votes to maintain its position at the top of the poll. The Crimson Tide was followed by Ohio State, Louisville, and Michigan. Every team in the top four received at least one first-place vote.

The SEC earned a bit more respect after a big weekend in the conference. Texas A&M moved up to No. 9 while Tennessee jumped to No. 11. The conference has seven teams ranked among the top 25 after LSU dropped out.
