The Alabama football program will be back on the clock tonight in Chicago when the 2016 NFL Draft gets underway. The program should add to its streak of seven straight drafts with at least one first-round pick.

Ever since the Crimson Tide failed to have a single player taken in the 2008 draft, Nick Saban has produced 17 first-round picks in seven years. This year doesn't appear to be a matter of if, but rather how many. The latest mock drafts have as many as four Alabama players coming off the board on Thursday night.

Defensive lineman Jarran Reed and linebacker Reggie Ragland seem to be consensus first-rounders, while defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson and center Ryan Kelly are left off a handful of mock drafts. Should the Crimson Tide have all four players taken on Thursday night, it would tie a school record set in 2011 and 2012.

Here's a look at the Alabama first-round picks under Nick Saban:

  • 2009 - Andre Smith (6th)
  • 2010 - Rolando McClain (8th), Kareem Jackson (20th)
  • 2011 - Marcell Dareus (3rd), Julio Jones (6th), James Carpenter (25th), Mark Ingram (28th)
  • 2012 - Trent Richardson (3rd), Mark Barron (7th), Dre Kirkpatrick (17th), Dont'a Hightower (25th)
  • 2013 - Dee Milliner (9th), Chance Warmack (10th), D.J. Fluker (11th)
  • 2014 - C.J. Mosley (17th), Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (21st)
  • 2015 - Amari Cooper (4th)

The Rams will lead things off with the first overall pick when the 2016 NFL Draft begins at 7PM.
