The energy, the excitment, Rhoads Stadium in Tuscaloosa was rocking Saturday night, as Alabama Softball came from behind to secure a spot in the Women's College World Series!

There was a hush over the crowd of 4,000 when Oklahoma's Lauren Chamberlin's hit home runs in back-to-back innings late in the game. There was growing tension that you could cut with a knife, as time was running for Alabama to make a come back.

Then, in the bottom of the 6th inning for Bama, the bases were loaded with 2 outs. The swing, going, going, gone! Marisa Runyon hit a grand slam, giving Alabama the go ahead 5 to 3 lead in the game. Bama picther Alexis Osorio sealed the win in the 7th. The players and the crowd erupted!

What a night, one to remember, as the softball teams continues towards another National Championship!
