Artists Who Weren’t Subjected Public Scrutiny, Thankfully

Let's face it! We all know that not all recording artists have melodious voices.  It's not always clear how an artist gets his big break, but in the age of technology and social media, it IS easy to tell who just might not be a star today if certain applications like MySpace (where MANY true vocalists emerged), YouTube and Vine were available before 2000.

1. Steve Arrington

Is the song catchy? Absolutely! And actually, his vocal ability is just as catchy.... But for the wrong reason! Is he serious?  Unfortunately, I think he is.  I also believe he has to be related to Keith Sweat.  And with that said.....

2. Keith Sweat

Keith Sweat reminds me of the church organist who teaches the parts to the choir, although he can't get his voice to do what he hears.

3. Errol Brown (lead singer of Hot Chocolate)

Why?

Just why?

4. Jermaine Stewart

I'm not even going to waste my time trying to explain my thoughts. There are no words.

And of course, this list HAS TO have a female.  While Ashanti is high on my list of singers that never should have made it (cue's Marvin Sapp.... who is also on my list, but since he's anointed, we'll let him slide), she's actually a better singer than....

5. Paula Abdul
