Bessemer Student Stabbed At School

A student was stabbed at Bessemer City High School.The student was stabbed in the leg by another student that used a small knife. According to al.com, the stabbing happened in the parking lot near the football field. The injured student was transported to a local hospital.

The other student has been charged with assault in the first degree, and possession of a weapon on school property.

A Bessemer City High School student said that this type of crime doesn’t happen here.

It don’t make any sense. It’s just it’s ridiculous because we started the year off so good, you know, we just bad choices like that only make everything consistent, you know. It just keeps going on with the fights, especially like I said if it’s a senior, it’s just not a wise choice.
