Beyoncé paid tribute to Atlanta rap legend Shawty Lo at her show at the Georgia Dome last night (Sept. 27), performing a snippet of his hit song, "Dey Know. Lo was killed last week in a car accident.

It was a cool thing to see, though not very surprising because Bey makes it a point to be in touch with whatever's going on in each city she visits, and has frequently shown her love for hood anthems over the course of her career.

Of course, Bey isn't the only celebrity that's paid homage to the rapper in the wake of his untimely, tragic death. T.I. went on Instagram to express his sorrow.

“Can’t say enough about how much you meant to the city,” he wrote. “Glad we matured beyond our trivial personal differences in time enough to have a laugh about it as neighbors. We salute U G!!!! Rest easy, You’ll truly be missed.”

Tip also performed "Dey Know" at a show in Las Vegas this past weekend. Following his death, hundreds of fans attended a candlelight vigil in Lo's stomping grounds, Bankhead, paying their respects to the rapper.  Shawty Lo’s funeral will take place at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church on Oct. 1 at noon.
