Birthday Weekend Fun
I was kinda hesitant about posting pics from my birthday celebration, but I figured why not? I mean, it was such an awesome weekend. So, here goes....
My weekend began with my first performance in of "A Testament of Faith," an inspirational play written and directed by Shawna Moore.
Friday's performance was a lot of fun, but it was more like a "warm-up" than the other nights. Then, I woke up Saturday morning and served as Mistress of Ceremony for the Tuscaloosa Diabetes Walk.
Following Saturday night's play performance, I went to hang out with my family as my cousin Crystal and I chose to have a joint birthday celebration. (Her birthday was Sept. 24 and mine was the 29th).
The Merienda Turn Up!
VIP at Merienda is AWESOME! Very roomy.
We had a ball. (By the way, thanks, Clifford.) Granted, the DJ had to put us out, but if we can celebrate life, the very least we can do is honor The One that gave it to us..... Especially since my niece was being baptized.
After church was the final weekend performance of "A Testament of Faith." I have to thank everyone who came out to support us but especially my mother, my brothers and sister (in-laws included) and their children, my grandparent, aunts, cousins, AND those who traveled from Aliceville to support Jared, Denise, Joel, Nate (our music director), and me.
All in all, an AWESOME although busy birthday weekend.
